Prime Minister attends India-Mauritius Business Conclave

Prime Minister Dr Navin Ramgoolam took part in the India-Mauritius Business Conclave held in Mumbai on Wednesday, September 10. The event was jointly organized by the Economic Development Board (EDB) of Mauritius and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) to strengthen economic and trade relations between India and Mauritius.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Indian Minister for Energy Manohar Lal Khattar and several senior representatives from the business community from both the countries. This strategic meeting allowed the Mauritian Prime Minister to exchange directly with Indian investors, highlighting the numerous investment opportunities in Mauritius.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed the Mauritian government’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment and promoting a sustainable economic partnership with India.

After this significant milestone in Mumbai, the Chief Minister will continue his visit to India immediately after heading to Varanasi, where a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and other working sessions are scheduled tomorrow.
