The development partnership between Mauritius and India, which is a key pillar of the special ties between the two countries, along with various opportunities to further strengthen it were key topics discussed today during a courtesy call the High Commissioner of India, Mr Anurag Srivastava, had on the Minister of Land Transport, Mr Osman Cassam Mahomed, in Port-Louis.

The Indian High Commissioner highlighted that various ongoing and upcoming projects in urban transportation and clean energy were reviewed.

One highly important project relating to the introduction of electric buses was also discussed during the meeting. According to Mr Srivastava, both parties underscored the importance of expediting the implementation of this project.
